​Q: How much does it cost?
 
A: New patients will pay $110 with records and $120 without records for the office visit and $150 for filing with the state which totals out to $260 or $270. Patients looking to renew their card will pay $85 (patients not expired to our office) or $95 cash (prior patient to our office has expired) for the office visit and $150 for filing with the state which totals out to $235 or $245. If you are on food stamps, the state will discount your filing fee by 50% making your state fee only $75!
 

Q: What forms of payment are accepted?
 
A: For office visit payments we accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards. However, if you use a credit card you will be charged an additional $5. For state filing payments we can ONLY accept Visa or MasterCard, no additional fee. We do not accept checks.
 
Q: How long does it take to receive my digital Medical Marijuana Card in my patient portal system?
 

A: It takes approximately 1-3 business days from the upload date to receive your digital medical marijuana card via patient portal. Holidays will extend this time.
 

Q: How much marijuana am I allow to carry or purchase at once?
 
A: Each patient is allowed to carry up to 2.5 ounces on your persons at any time and purchase up to 2.5 ounces every 2 weeks.
 
Q: Can patients under the age of 18 qualify for a Medical Marijuana Card?
 
A: In order for a patient under the age of 18 to qualify they must have permission from the parent or legal guardian. Minor will also need 2 doctor certifications from different physicians. The parent or legal guardian will also need to become the minor’s caregiver so that they will be able to purchase the medical marijuana for the minor.
 
Q: Where can I purchase Medical Marijuana?
 
A: Once you have your medical marijuana card you will be able to purchase medical marijuana from legal state dispensaries.
 
Q: Can I cultivate my own medical marijuana?
 
A: As a qualifying patient, or as the qualifying patient’s designated caregiver, you may be approved to cultivate medical marijuana. The qualifying patient must live at least 25 miles away from the nearest dispensary.

Q: How long do I have to file to the state after my office visit?
A: 90 days; It is recommended that you file to the state on your patient portal right after your office visit. However, your certification is valid for 90 days after your office visit, so you do have up to 90 days to file to the state. After the 90 days, you are invalid and will be subjected to fees for another office visit for an updated certification.
